(100 μg) RAD17 homolog (RAD17) is highly similar to the Schizosaccharomyces pombe rad1 protein, a cell cycle checkpoint regulator required for cell cycle arrest and DNA damage repair in response to DNA damage. RAD17 shares strong similarity with DNA replication factor C (RFC) with which it forms a complex.
