TNFa-nAb
Tumor Necrosis Factor alpha (TNFa) is a cell signaling protein released by macrophages, monocytes, neutrophils, t-cells, etc. It’s primarily responsible for immune cell regulation as it’s able to, induce fever, cachexia, apoptosis, and trigger systematic cell inflammation. A number of diseases have been linked to dysregulation of TNF, including cancer and Alzheimer’s disease.
TNFa-nAb is a nano-antibody that binds TNFa. It is characterized by its small size, ~12.5kd, so 1µg of TNFa-nAb is equivalent to 10µg of a traditional antibody by weight and 5µg of a traditional antibody when considering avidity.
