Immunodiagnostic Kits for Research

phagoburst

Earlier this year we launched our new line of immunodiagnostic kits that allow for highly reproducible FACS-based measurement of immune function. These kits are EMA certified for clinical use, but they have also been used extensively for novel research. Below are brief descriptions of our kit applications as well as recent publications.

PhagoTest – This test allows you to analyze phagocytic activity in blood of humans or other mammalian species. Abnormal phagocytosis can be indicative of actin dysfunction, tuftsin deficiency, renal failure, diabetes, or trauma. The following publications have employed the PhagoTest Kit.

The peripheral blood transcriptome reflects variations in immunity traits in swine: towards the identification of biomarkers

PhagoBurst (Burst Test) – This test investigates oxidative burst activity in whole blood. It can be used to evaluate the effects of drugs or indicate chronic granulomatous disease. Abnormal oxidative burst is common in transplant patients, patients with AIDS, or those who have experienced repeated infections. The following publications have employed the PhagoBurst Kit.

Phagosomes Induced by Cytokines Function as anti-Listeria Vaccines: NOVEL ROLE FOR FUNCTIONAL COMPARTMENTALIZATION OF STAT-1 PROTEIN AND CATHEPSIN-D

BasoTest – This kit investigates allergen induced activation of basophilic granulocytes. It can help indicate allergic rhinitis or hay fever, asthma bronchiale, systemic anaphylaxis, or urticaria (hives). The following publications have employed the BasoTest Kit.
